Chairman of the 26th Session of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (2006). Chairman of the Second (2008) Session of the Preparatory Committee for the 2010 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. Chairman of Main Committee 2 of the 2010 NPT Review Conference.
In 2014 – 2015 served as member of the Group of Governmental Experts to make recommendations on possible aspects of a Treaty banning the production of fissile materials for nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices.
Member of the Delegation of Ukraine at the 2016 Washington Nuclear Summit.
Member of the Delegations of Ukraine at the OSCE Council of Ministers (Budapest, 1995), London International Meeting on Bosnia (July 1995), First and Second London Peace Implementation Conferences (December 1995, December 1996), Ankara Donors Conference for Bosnia and Herzegovina (March 1996).
