Pablo Agustín Zambrano Albuja is a
distinguished Ecuadorian lawyer and Doctor of
Jurisprudence with over 25 years of experience
across public, private, and industry sectors. He
most recently served as CEO of ECOFROZ, a
leading exporter of frozen vegetables, where he
directed corporate strategy and international
trade efforts. He also held prominent leadership
roles as President of the Chamber of Industries
and Production and of the National Federation
of Industry Chambers of Ecuador, establishing
himself as a key figure in the country’s economic
and industrial development.
Dr. Zambrano holds a PhD in Constitutional Law from the National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina, along with several master’s degrees in Business Law, Public Procurement, and Business Management. His professional background includes legal and corporate affairs leadership at multinational firms such as Philip Morris, and critical roles in investment promotion and alternative dispute resolution, notably as director of arbitration and mediation centers within major Ecuadorian chambers of commerce.
An accomplished academic and public speaker, Dr. Zambrano has published extensively on international law, arbitration, and institutional reform. His career reflects a strong blend of strategic leadership, legal expertise, and public service—qualities that have led to his recent appointment as Ambassador of Ecuador to the United States in Washington, where he now represents Ecuador’s interests in one of the world’s most pivotal diplomatic postings.
